Adjusting System settings

System adjustments have different menu options de-

pending on TV, DVD or PC mode.

1 Press MENU to display the MENU screen.

2 Press / to move the cursor to System menu, then

press .

3 Press / to move the cursor to the desired item.

4 Press / to change the setting.

5 Press EXIT to close the menu screen.

Channel Edit (Only TV mode)

This feature allows you to erase channels that were

added when you used the “Channel search” feature.

It also allows you to set favorite channels.

1. Press MENU to display the MENU screen .

2. Press the buttons to select the System, then

press .

3. Press the buttons to select the Channel Edit

item, and then press .

4. Press the buttons to select a channel you want to edit. Press red button

to erase or press green button to set to favorite channel.

5. Press EXIT to close the Channel Edit screen.

If you have set favorite channels, press OK/FAV on remote control to select

the favorite channels.

Adjusting CLOSED CAPTION Settings

SETTING CLOSED CAPTION

"Closed Caption" is a system which allows conversations, narration, and sound effects in TV programs

and home videos to be viewed as captions on the TV screen.

Not all programs and videos will offer closed captioning. Please look for the "CC" symbol to ensure that

captions are available.

Closed Caption broadcasts can be viewed in two modes: CAPTION and TEXT. For each mode, four

selections are available. The CAPTION mode shows subscripts of dialogs and commentaries of TV

dramas and news programs while allowing a clear view of the picture.

The TEXT mode display various information over the picture (such as TV program schedules and weather

forecasts, etc.) that is independent of the TV programs.

Setting the CLOSED CAPTION option from the MENU screen

1 Press MENU to display the MENU screen.

2 Press / to move the cursor to Features menu,

then press .

3 Press / to move the cursor to the Data services

option, then press , the Data services screen will

appear (or press CC button directly to call up the

screen).

4 Use the arrow button to move the cursor to the Closed Caption.

5Please press the arrow buttons to select and adjust the Closed Caption function.

6 Press EXIT to close the menu screen.

Closed Caption may not work properly (white blocks ,strange characters ,etc.) if signal conditions are poor or

if there are problems at the broadcast source. This does not indicate a problem with your set.

If any button is pressed to call up the menu screen while viewing a Closed Caption broadcast, the

closed captions will disappear momentarily.
